Nylon 8 Strand or Multiplait is a 100% nylon rope designed for use as anchor and drogue warps. The construction of the rope provides a large amount stretch, as well as being made from nylon which has a high stretch characteristic, to absorb the motion of a vessel moving on sea when at anchor. - The pitch of this rope has been designed, across all diameters, to mesh with the appropriately sized chain gypsy on anchor winches and windlasses. - Pliable and easily handled with the ability to lay nicely in anchor wells and lazarettes when in storage. - High level of twist applied to the individual yans to provide high abrasion resistance.- Easily splicable to terminate to anchor chains and thimbles.
